SweetKids

One of the sweetest preoccupations in my life is collecting a whole heap of creative ways to help my kids pray, read the Bible and get to know God.

We like things that are practical, intentional and FUN. Some might be planned, some spontaneous. There are a few of our own ideas, but most are mooched from far-more-inventive people than us!

Well, I’m sure that there are plenty of others who long to watch their kids growing with God, so I thought I’d gather any kiddy-prayer-family-Bible related ideas from the old blog together for easy access…

Hope they help:

Prayer Sweetstuff:

Buckets of Love: Helping the whole family pray for other people…

Blessing Jar: A great way to get the whole family thanking God

Writing on the Wall: A fun idea for teaching kids that they are made and valued by God

Count ya blessing!

Bible Sweetstuff:

Bible Books Basket: Helping find time to read the Bible together

Seeds Family Worship: Some wonderful songs to help the whole family learn/sing/enjoy the Bible

Every Day: A book of daily Bible readings that the Sweeties have actually enjoyed using!

One happy Boy and a Box of Bible Books!

Seasonal Sweetstuff:

Easter Sweetstuff: Stones, gardens, mud and fun

Harvest/Autumn Sweetstuff: A fabulous pumpkin-related idea. Love it.

Christmas Sweetstuff: Tis the reason for the Season… A tree-related idea.

Pray pumpkin style...

Hope they start you off on a prayer adventure with your own Sweetkids!

Keep checking back – I’ll be adding more…
